It is with Regret that Shattered Faith, due to a lack of man power, and a focused leader, that Shattered Faith Is being shelved at present.
I don't like to use the term dead, because we still own all the intellectual property to it, so it can not be stolen, however it will most likely not see the light of day on the BF2 engine.
If you would have told me a few months ago this mod would be shelved, I would have called you crazy, yet it has happened, and there isn't much the remaining members can do about it.
We apologise to all the dissapointed fans out there, but I ask you to remember one thing, we put our hearts and souls into this mod, just to see our hard work, go to waste, so take the disapointment you feel as fans and multiply it by any number you want, and it may give you a glimpse of how bad we feel.
However, the members that are still around, have decided to carry on modding, and aid a Battlefield 2142 mod, come to fruition, moving back to the genre that got us all modding in the first place Star Wars (Galactic conquest) . Thats right, we have moved accross to work on the First Strike Mod along side some extremely talented modders.
Again apologies for the disapointment, and I hope you will wish the remaining members luck with First Strike.

P.S. who knows what may happen in the future, SF may rise on a Brand new Engine only time will tell :)
sorry to hear. the teasers looked cool and the overall concept of a modern day invasion was interesting. i hope it will be revived sometime.
It is sad to see SF go...it looked all so promising with all those cool renders and promo shots
But it's good to hear that you are working on First Strike. I loved GC and with your expertise First Strike should shape up to be a classic!

Sadly to be expected given the limitations of the BF2 engine, and the lack of modding support from Dice/EA - hence the comment about 'another engine' is fitting.
